CPC Enhances Novorossiysk Sport Facilities

33.jpgAn opening ceremony for the fire and rescue sports venue, built and equipped under the charity program of Caspian Pipeline Consortium, was held in Glebovsky village within Novorossiysk Municipality on January 20, 2026. Nikolay Gorban, CPC General Director; Andrey Kravchenko, the Head of the Hero-City of Novorossiysk Municipality; Yaroslav Gorodetsky, the First Deputy Minister of Civil Defense and Emergencies for Krasnodar Krai, and other officials participated in the ceremony.
The venue with the area of 7 thousand m2 is outfitted with equipment enabling training of students and EMERCOM fire brigades: obstacle courses, running tracks, outdoor exercise equipment, training tower, deployment training targets, gorodki (skittles) playground sites, streetball and volleyball areas, and climbing wall. The latter is the only one in the municipality and will host free of charge classes with instructors for all comers. This part of venue will be closed outside of business hours.
Auxiliary facilities, matching the minimum requirements for fire and rescue sports activities and Ready for Labour and Defence standards, have been constructed within the venue. Dismountable sheltered stands (100 seats) have also been installed.
Attendees of the opening ceremony for the fire and rescue sports venue noted that all requirements for hosting top level events have been met. This venue will promote sports and become the training base for EMERCOM employees and youth in general: from high school, specialized sports school and college students to adult sportsmen.11.jpg

CPC has been contributing in the development of the Hero-City of Novorossiysk Municipality sports facilities for many years.
Thus, the Pobeda Sports Center for archery and the Children's Tennis Center were commissioned under the Company’s charity program in the South district of Novorossiysk in 2018.
Nadezhda recreational and educational center for acrobatics and competitive gymnastics, outfitted with state-of-the-art special sports equipment through CPC funding, was built in 2019. It hosted the all-Russian competitive gymnastics event in 2024.
New playgrounds with fitness zones for young people were created in Severnaya Ozereyevka in 2021, and in Primorsky district next to Kuban House of Culture in 2024. Furthermore, CPC provided municipal sports schools with boxing rings and associated training equipment so that children could delve into box, a popular sport in the city.
