On April 9, 2026, a ceremony was held in Ortakshyl village of Mahambet District in the Atyrau Region to hand over to Akimat, the local administration, the playgrounds and sports grounds built as part of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium’s charitable program. The event was attended by Kairgeldy Kabyldin, CPC-K Deputy General Director, RK Government Relations, and Kairat Nurlybayev, Akim of Makhambet District.
Nine play and sports grounds have been installed in five villages of the Makhambet District: Makhambet, Yenbekshil, Taldykol, Zhalgansai and Ortakshyl. Children's play structures include slides, playhouses, swings, merry-go-rounds and sandpits. The sports areas are equipped with various types of exercise machines, horizontal bars and parallel bars.
All grounds and areas have soft, safety-certified surfaces. The structures comply with quality and safety standards, are adapted to the region’s climate and designed for heavy-duty use. The total cost of the play and sports facilities designed for children and young people amounted to more than 300 million tenge.
The implementation of the project has improved access to sports facilities in rural areas and allowed to create modern public spaces. All the facilities have been accepted into service by the Makhambet District Akimat.
“In its charitable activities, the Caspian Pipeline Consortium places special emphasis on supporting children and young people,” noted Kairgeldy Kabyldin. - We help build modern infrastructure: we construct new schools, children’s centers and sports facilities. We recently completed a project to renovate and equip five chemistry classrooms for rural schools in the Atyrau Region. It is important to us that children have access to a quality education and opportunities for active and healthy leisure activities. We believe that such initiatives contribute to the region’s development and help build the next generation.
