
On 4-7 May 2026, General Director of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium Nikolay Gorban, within the framework of a business trip to the Krasnodar Krai, visited the CPC Marine Terminal, where he carried out a number of inspections and held some working meetings.
Currently, preparations are underway in Novorossiysk to replace two single point moorings, which have been in operation since 2001. The CPC General Director inspected the progress in dismantling SPM-2 damaged by an unmanned boat attack and the preparations for dismantling the earlier used subsea manifold. Besides, in the course of the visit, completeness was checked of the entire equipment required for the new SPM-2 installation in the designed position, as well as the progress of installing the Russia-made communication systems on the SPM.
The CPC General Director paid special attention to the condition of the Marine Terminal protection structures and the personnel shelters, checked the employee awareness of the emergency action algorithm.

In 2025, the CPC Marine Terminal transshipped the Consortium record of 70.52 million tons of crude oil. This quantity was loaded onto 587 tankers, out of which 142 vessels were of the Aframax type and 445 - Suezmax. This is 7 million tons and 3 tankers more than in 2024.
In 2025, 113 drills were conducted on oil spill response offshore and shoreline protection, as well as 20 offshore fire drills.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major projects in energy sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil, and crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region.
