CPC Takes Part in the KIOGE-2026 International Exhibition and Conference

20261002.jpgCPC representatives attended the 30th event of the KIOGE-2026 International Exhibition and Conference held from September 30 to October 02, 2026 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The Consortium conventionally supported the most significant event of the O&G industry as a Silver Sponsor.

This year, the exhibition brought together 501 companies from 22 countries. This number included CPC shareholder companies presenting their exhibits, state-of-the-art technology, equipment and service solutions for the oil and gas sector.

The international conference attended by 620 delegates was the key event. Kairgeldy Kabyldin, CPC-K JSC Deputy General Director, spoke at the plenary session entitled ‘Global Integration: Kazakhstan’s Role in the New Energy Value Chains’. His presentation ‘30 years of CPC: A Project that Stood the Test of Time’ focused on the company history milestones and its most prominent achievements to date.

‘Kazakhstan and Russia have built a global scale project. The project was supported by international investors and oil producers. Currently, CPC is a graphic example of a pragmatic approach, mutual benefit, and respect for stakeholder interests being merged into projects for decades to come’, underscored K.M. Kabyldin in his address.

When dwelling upon frequently asked questions regarding diversification of oil export routes from Kazakhstan, Mr. Kabyldin pointed out that this option was always available for the RoK, however, when new itineraries are initiated, what also matters is to preserve and develop the existing infrastructure that has proved reliable and effective over a long term of operation.

‘No other route is currently capable of replacing CPC if a number of factors is combined - volume, existing infrastructure, process availability, streamlined supply chain, and, last but not least, the cost of transportation’, said K.M. Kabyldin. ‘CPC is the shortest route from the oil and gas fields located in the west of Kazakhstan to Novorossiysk, with no extra loading operations’.

In 2025, CPC crossed a historic milestone of 1 billion tons of crude oil pumped through the Tengiz-Novorossiysk system in the entire operation period. CPC annually provides some 1.4 billion KZT to support healthcare, education, the environment, culture and sports in the Atyrau Oblast. Total investment deployed in the RoK social projects has currently exceeded KZT 17 billion.
