Scope of Work During Scheduled Shutdown

2N3A7219.jpgOn October 06, 2026 following a 12-hour scheduled shutdown, Tengiz-Novorossiysk crude oil pipeline resumed its work.
The above timeframe included scheduled regular maintenance activities of various systems of the trunk pipeline, pump stations and the Marine Terminal. Repairs, CPC ongoing and capital projects related activities were carried out.
PS and pipeline scheduled maintenance was completed in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Three defects were repaired using repair sleeves at the pipeline; integrity of the pipeline coating was checked at six sections. One ball valve was replaced at Atyrau PS, along with a bend at a branch gas pipeline.
At Komsomolsk PS in the Republic of Kalmykia, instrumentation was replaced at the pig launcher/receiver, a leaking ball valve was replaced. LACT ball valves are being replaced with plug type valves with leak control.
At the pipeline facilities operating in the Stavropol and Krasnodar Krai, repair sleeves were installed at the pipeline section.  Effectiveness of surge relief system was checked at Kropotkin PS.
At the CPC Marine Terminal, work was performed under the ongoing program of SCADA OAZiS replacement with a dispatch control and supervision system (DCSS).
The Consortium uses advance planning for 12-hour scheduled shutdowns, or other scheduled shutdowns, subject to the Shippers’ prior approval of the dates. This information in also taken into account by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in developing their schedule for oil transportation through the Tengiz-Novorossiysk crude oil pipeline. Thus, streamlined work of all participants in the process of oil production and transportation through the CPC crude pipeline is secured.
