October 29, 2026, Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University hosted an official presentation of The Best (Үздік), a book on child upbringing and development. The event was also attended by the University professors, students of the faculty of education and school teachers.
The book is aimed at parents and teachers. According to the author, it offers responses to key issues on children’s development, unlocking their potential and motivation for learning, fostering respect for family and hard work.
‘This book is about raising a child properly, from preschool through the school years’, pointed out Kulyash Shamshidinova. ‘We need to realize that good marks and proper performance is only part of the journey.’ It is crucial to help a child to grow into a fulfilled personality, find their purpose, contribute to society, and be happy. This is exactly what makes a child truly the best.
The book in question helps the parents realize what truly matters to children today, how the teachers can contribute, what is the difference between public and private kindergartens and schools, and what is the impact of the family environment and parenting choices on a child.
‘A priority objective of CPC is to support its host regions’, noted Kairgeldy Kabyldin, CPC-K JSC Deputy General Director, Republic of Kazakhstan Government Relations. ‘Our company makes investments into the development of the Atyrau Region social projects, on an annual basis.’ The funds allocated are used to develop the infrastructure of the region, as well as its healthcare, culture and education, and to support the under-privileged groups. Libraries of all of the Atyrau Region schools have received copies of The Best, to be used as a practical guide for bringing up modern children.
This social and educational project included printing of 2,000 copies of books - 1,000 in Russian and 1,000 in Kazakh. CPC-K invested 11.3 million KZT in the implementation of this charity project.
CPC-K invested more than 17 billion KZT into the development of the Atyrau Region in 2001-2025. One of the largest educational projects undertaken by CPC-K is the construction of a school for 900 students in the Talgairan micro district in Atyrau.
