Occupational Safety Summit of Directors General was held on April 22 in Krasnodar. Among the participants were CPC Shareholders, GMG representatives, as well as the Consortium, management companies’ and contractors’ managers. In their opening addresses Mr. N. Brunich, CPC General Director, Mr. D. Fahy, CPC First Deputy General Director and Mr. W. Simpson, Deputy General Director, Projects and Engineering noted that numerous facilities will be commissioned in the current year which calls for implementation of all injury and incident prevention measures.
The Summit included exchange of OHS best practices and discussion of the issues related to the forthcoming completion of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk Pipeline Expansion Project.
The Expansion Project includes rehabilitation of 5 existing and construction of 10 additional pump stations (2 in the Republic of Kazakhstan and 8 in the Russian Federation), six new storage tanks (100,000 cu.m each) in addition to the existing four near Novorossiysk and a third SPM at the CPC Marine Terminal, and also the replacement of an 88 km pipeline section in Kazakhstan with a larger diameter pipe. The total amount of the Project investments will be US$ 5.4 billion.

N.V. - 2% и Oryx Caspian Pipeline LLC – 1.75%.
