On 29 August, on the eve
of the Day of Knowledge, Caspian Pipeline Consortium donated school backpacks
with educational kits to children in Atyrau Oblast as part of its annual
charity program - CPC to First-Graders.
This year, over 40
children received gifts from CPC-K. They are first graders from the village of
Kurylys, Indersky District, village of Zhastalap, Kurmangazinsky District, and
village of Aktogay, Makhambetovsky District. It is important to note that
schools in these villages were constructed as part of CPC-K charity activities.
The first graders’ school backpacks are filled with notebooks, pens, pencils,
drawing sets, play dough and other stationery.
“Annually, before the
beginning of the school year, we provide CPC with lists of families that need
help in getting children ready for school, - noted Zholaman Izgailiuly, School
Principal from the village of Aktogay. - The Consortium is always supporting us
and thanks to the CPC to First Graders project our children receive tangible
support.. I am sure that today’s gift will remain in their memory for a long
time and will be an incentive for them to study well”.
This year, Ayagoz, one of
the daughters of Farida Kospakova, has started school. Her elder sister, Amina,
also received a school backpack from CPC in 2021.
“It is a great joy for my
daughter to receive such a gift for school, and a real help for us parents, -
says Farida. - Inside the backpack there are all the supplies you need to
study, and the backpack itself is very comfortable and with an orthopedic
backrest. Today it is very expensive to send even one child to school, and even
more so for families with many children. On behalf of the parents, I say many
thanks to CPC for their support and message”.
Since 2001, CPC-K has
been implementing charity programs aimed at support to medicine, culture and
education and development of infrastructure of cities and settlements in Atyrau
Oblast. Annually, the Consortium allocated over 3 million dollars towards
charity projects. In total, from 2001 to 2022, the Company invested
approximately 12 billion tenge in charity projects in Atyrau Oblast.
