On 2 July
2024 in Elista, Caspian Pipeline Consortium handed over transport and equipment
to the budget institutions of Kalmykia. The ceremony was attended by the CPC
General Director Nikolai Gorban and the Head of Kalmykia Batu Khasikov.
Another
major contribution of the Consortium to the development of the children/youth
sports was procurement of a bus for the Uralan Olympic Reserve Republican
Sports School. A comfortable 53-seat bus for interurban travel will deliver the
trainees to sports competitions without the need of renting transport. Young
sportsmen make more than 150 trips per year to take part in the competitions
organized by the Southern and North Caucasus Federal Districts.
The staff
of the “Black Lands” State Reserve, within the framework of the CPC annual project
“Let’s Save Our Environment”, received power equipment, overalls and special
footgear for inspectors. Another part of this environmental/educational project
was procurement of water treatment systems for 20 educational institutions in
the Elista City, Iki-Burulsky and Chernozemelsky Districts of the Republic.
All in all,
the equipment worth more than RUR 19 million was handed over on this day.
