CPC guarantees efficient and environmentally safe movement of crude oil

20220222.jpgOn 22 February 2022, vehicles purchased by Caspian Pipeline Consortium was delivered to children’s and youth's sports schools in the region. The ceremony was attended by CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban, his deputy for RF Government relations Mikhail Grishankov, the leadership of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth Policy of the Krasnodar Region.

Six children’s and youth's sports schools in the region received FORD TRANSIT buses. The vehicles were delivered to Sports Schools No 1 and 3 in the Dinsky District, Perfection Sports School in the town of Kropotkin in the Kavkazsky District, Sports Schools 1 and 2 in the Korenovsky District, and Sports School 2 in the Krymsky District. The buses designed for 23 seats needed to transport young athletes to training camps and various competitions are equipped with all the latest technological developments in safety and comfort: a roof air-conditioner, a trip computer, an anti-lock brake system (ABS), an electronic stability program (ESP), a hill launch assist system (HLA), an emergency break assist system (EBA), a 60 km/hr bus speed limiter, a digital tachograph, an ERA-GLONASS system, etc. CPC allocated more than 21 mln rubles for this charity project to the region.

For reference: CPC has been implementing charity projects in Krasnodar Krai from 1998. Over 1.1 billion rubles has been given to charity by the Consortium over this time for the region's needs (excluding social projects in Novorossiysk).

The CPC Pipeline System is one of CIS largest energy investment projects that involves foreign capital. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route moves over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil along with crude from Russian fields including those in the Caspian region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM), allowing tankers to be loaded safely at significant distance offshore, including in poor weather conditions
