Hero City Hosts the First Classical Music Festival “Novorossiysk Chimes"
On September 10, 2022 Novorossiysk saw the first open-air classical music festival "Novorossiysk Chimes". The event held on Forum square was arranged by Caspian Pipeline Consortium and the autonomous non-profit organization “Black Sea Symphony Orchestra”. Andrei Kravchenko, the head of the hero city, and Mikhail Grishankov, CPC-R Deputy General Director, RF Government Relations, spoke at the opening ceremony.
CPC to First Graders
The “CPC to First Graders” charity program in running in August 2022 in all Regions of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium’s presence in the Russian Federation.
This year more than 10.5 thousand first graders are receiving school bags of well-known manufacturers with sets of school supplies: 1,010 – in Novorossiysk, 3,000 and 1,900 – in Krasnodar and Stavropol Krais, respectively, 2,249 – in the Republic of Kalmykia and 2,352 – in Astrakhan Oblast. The Consortium has allocated over 35 million rubles to the Program implementation.
CPC Handed Over Environmental and Ecological Equipment to Budgetary Institutions of Kalmykia
On 16-17 August 2022, Caspian Pipeline Consortium donated the latest means of control and monitoring of endangered species of fauna and flora to the Directorate of Specially Protected Natural Areas of the Republic of Kalmykia and the State Natural Biosphere Reserve "Chernye Zemli", as well as modern equipment for purifying potable water in children's educational institutions in the Region.

In view of the repairs at Tengiz field in the Republic of Kazakhstan, crude oil from the field is being received in a reduced mode at the CPC pipeline system head section (Tengiz PS).Also due to the suspension of oil production at Kashagan field, the oil volumes received in CPC pipeline system have been reduced.

On 29 July 2022 power supply of CPC-K Kurmangazy PS and Isatai PS was restored, which allowed getting the pipeline facilities back to normal operation.

CPC Management Make a Working Trip to the Mountainous Segment of the Oil Pipeline and Marine Terminal
On 18 July 2022, a group of CPC operation and construction projects execution specialists headed by CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban made a working trip to the mountainous segment of the oil pipeline and CPC Marine Terminal near Novorossiysk. The General Director inspected the MT Tank Farm and Shore Facilities, held a meeting with the MT management on various issues of MT operation and Debottlenecking Program (DBN) of the CPC oil pipeline system.

SPM-3 resumes operation at CPC Marine Terminal
On 23 April 2022, SPM-3 went back into service after repairs at the CPC Marine Terminal. As the weather improved for a short period of time on 23 April 2022, it allowed diving work to be carried out and a pipeline end manifold (PLEM) to be opened, enabling crude oil loading to be resumed from that SPM.

Regulatory oversight agency to inspect CPC facilities
The Federal Service for Environmental, Technical, and Nuclear Supervision (RTN) has notified CPC of a forthcoming unscheduled field inspection to assess the technical status of the Consortium’s industrial facilities pursuant to an instruction by Victoria Abramchenko, Deputy Chairperson of the Russian Federation Government issued on 6 April 2022.
Current operation of CPC Marine Terminal
Weather conditions offshore the CPC Marine Terminal allowed to perform inspection of SPM-1 equipment. The SPM was found serviceable and fit for oil transshipment.
Suspension of SPM-2 Operation
Diver examination by the MT maintenance contractor OOO Transneft-Service of the SPM equipment at the Marine Terminal near Novorossiysk after a storm revealed damage of sections 9 and 13 of the SPM-2 internal hose.
