Winners of CPC to Talented Children Contest Awarded

20221129-1-1.jpgOn 28 November 2022, a gala concert and awarding of the winners of the International contest of children’s and youth’s art - CPC to Talented Children, 2022 - were held in the Et Cetera Theater in Moscow. Caspian Pipeline Consortium has been conducting the Festival for over 20 years.

The gala concert was united by a common storyline: "time travel for a dream”. Successive historical eras - the Petrine, Catherinian, Pushkinian, Russian industrial, early and late Soviet - immersed the audience in authentic musical and dance numbers, performed with great skill by the contestants. Bright, tasteful costumes, energetic, spirited performance of folk and contemporary works - all this caused a delight and deserved applause of the half-thousand people in an auditorium filled to capacity.

20221129-1-2.jpgThe ceremony of awarding 49 winners of the festival, who included soloists and creative teams, organically ended the two-act historical and fantastic action. The stage was filled with 260 deserving winners. They were greeted by CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban. Mikhail Grishankov, CPC Deputy General Director, Russian Federation Government Relations, Kairgeldy Kabyldin, CPC Deputy General Director, Republic of Kazakhstan Government Relations, Oleg Knyazev, Chairman of Astrakhan Oblast Government and Andrey Kravchenko, Head of Novorossiysk Municipality, participated in the awarding ceremony.

The CPC to Talented Children Festival has a special place among the charitable projects that we implement in the regions where we operate, - said CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban. - By lighting new starlets every year, we are making an important investment in the future that belongs to our children. The festival plays an important role in the process of formation and development of the younger generation, preservation of ethnic cultural traditions of the regions of Russia and Kazakhstan”.

20221129-1-3.jpgOn the eve of the gala concert, November 26-27, the winners of regional stages of the contest together with their tutors took part in master classes arranged by teachers from leading Moscow universities, artists of Moscow theaters and well-known musicians. All participants of the third stage went on interesting excursions, visited Moscow museums, exhibitions, concerts and other sightseeing attractions.

Over 18 thousand people participated in total in the CPC to Talented Children, 2022 festival (almost 5,000 thousand applications from five Russian regions). The young participants competed in seven categories, including vocal, instrumental music, scenography, choreography and others. The winners of the regional stages of the contest from Astrakhan Oblast, Republic of Kalmykia, Stavropol and Krasnodar Krai, and the winners of the Jas Tolqyn competition from the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the final stage.
