On 28 December 2022, a comprehensive drill was
conducted in Stavropol Krai to confirm CPC-R’s readiness to action to contain
and respond to oil and oil product spills. The function with 56 persons and 38

supervisor received information from an that an oil leak was detected on the
linear part of CPC-R trunk pipeline, 80 section, 300 m from the left bank of
the underwater crossing of the Tashla River.

CPC OCC in Novorossiysk conditionally shut down the emergency section of the

Main Department in Stavropol Krai, Stavropol Krai Administration, Rosprirodnadzor
and Rostekhnadzor confirmed the sufficiency of resources and labor to contain
and respond to the maximum possible oil spills in Stavropol Krai in accordance
with CPC-R Oil and Oil Product Spill Containment and Response Plan.

km. This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as
well as crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region.
