CPC and Krasnodar Krai Executed a New Cooperation Agreement

20220620-1.jpgOn 20 June 2022, Nikolay Gorban, General Director of Caspian Pipeline Consortium, and Veniamin Kondratiev, Head of Krasnodar Krai Administration (Governor), executed a new Cooperation Agreement between the Consortium and the Region.

The Consortium will continue implementing charity projects and programs in Krasnodar Krai municipalities, whose territories are crossed by the crude pipeline route and where CPC operation facilities are located, in such priority spheres as education, health care, support to children’s sports, culture and ecology.


20220620-2.jpgIn determining concrete facilities and activities to be funded by the Company, the priority will be given to social significant projects having the maximum effectiveness and directly aimed at improving the life quality and level of the Region's population and at reliable functioning of the social infrastructure facilities in Krasnodar Krai municipalities.

Caspian Pipeline Consortium is the largest transport enterprise in the south of Russia. According to the results of the first four months of 2022 with the indicator of 20.7 million tons CPC Marine Terminal remains the leader by the volume of transshipment among the ports of the Russian Federation.

CPC tax payments to Krasnodar Krai consolidated budget amounted to: over 6 billion rubles in 2018, 8.8 billion rubles in 2019, over 8.1 billion rubles in 2020. In 2021, the payments amounted to almost 8.5 billion rubles. In 2021, the Consortium allocated about 180 million rubles to charity projects in Kuban region.

The CPC Pipeline System is one of CIS largest energy investment projects that involves foreign capital. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route moves over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil along with crude from Russian fields including those in the Caspian region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM), allowing tankers to be loaded safely at significant distance offshore, including in poor weather conditions
