Results of the Contest “CPC to Talented Children” Were Summed Up in Stavropol Krai

20220928-2.jpgA gala concert and an awarding ceremony of the second (regional) stage of the CPC to Talented Children 2022 festival was held on 27 September 2022 in the Stavropol Krai Children’s Art Center. Young contestants and their teachers, and also Igor Storozhenko, General Manager, Public and Authorities Relations, CPC-R, Galina Pavlova, Deputy Minister of Culture, Stavropol Krai, Heads of the Krai Municipalities, took part in the ceremony.

- Great project - CPC to Talented Children - has become a traditional cultural event, which is eagerly awaited by young residents of Stavropol. We are grateful to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium for its support to the youth, readiness to invest charity funds in the children’s future, in the country’s future, - said Galina Pavlova at the gala concert opening.

20220928-1.jpgOn the eve of the gala concert, on 24-26 September, the winners of the first (offline) stage together with their tutors participated in the master classes arranged by famous people of art, laureates of various international contests. Among them are Marina Yashchenko, honored artist of Russia, choreographer and director of "Red Star" Song and Dance Ensemble; Tatiana Sharova, honored artist of Russia, soloist of Russian State Capella; Irina Dubakina, teacher and ballet master of modern trends at "VORTEX" International Center of Contemporary Dance; Nikolay Kozhin, conductor and teacher of Moscow State Conservatory named after P. I. Tchaikovsky; Nikolay Kozhin, a cinema and theater actor, and Alexander Koltsov, an Honored Art Worker of Moscow.

In total, almost 4.7 thousand young talents from 50 settlements of Stavropol Krai participated in the CPC to Talented Children, 2022 festival. Almost 1.8 thousand video works were submitted to the jury.

The contest winners and laureates selected by the professional jury received the most prized certificates for a trip to Moscow, where the third, final, stage of the festival - the Uniting Cultural Forum - will take place on 25-29 November 2022. There, the Stavropol Krai participants will be joined by the laureates of the CPC to Talented Children festival from other Russian regions of CPC presence. A total of more than 18,000 people participated in the contest this year.

The CPC Pipeline System is one of CIS largest energy investment projects that involves foreign capital. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route moves over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil along with crude from Russian fields including those in the Caspian region.
