Grand Prix in the "Choreography” category was awarded to the “Ak Kaiyn”
ensemble (Isatai District, Akkystau village). Abish Zhanseit (Mangistau Oblast)
won the Grand Prix in the “Folk Song” nomination. The “Kulan saz” ensemble from
Atyrau was awarded the Grand Prix in the instrumental genre, and Aslima Shakhat
from Aktau took first place in the individual performance. Sanzhar Daukenov
(Terekty village, West Kazakhstan Oblast) and Dinmukhamed Nurkabayev from
Atyrau became Grand Prix winners in the “Vocal” nomination.

infrastructure. The “Jas-tolqyn” young talents contest for gifted children from
remote districts and villages of Kazakhstan Western regions is a large-scale
charitable project in the field of culture.
Before the contestants perform, they attend master classes with
famous teachers, this gives them the opportunity to reveal their talents and
learn new skills as fully as possible. The purpose of the contest is to
preserve the identity of folk traditions and culture.
As noted in the jury of the contest, the number of participants
compared with the last year has almost doubled, indicating the demand for the

As a reminder: the “Jas-tolqyn” charity project has been conducted
in Kazakhstan since 2019. The contest consists of three stages. The first of
these is the distance competition, which takes place online at jas-tolqyn.kz.
In-person regional stage takes place in the city of Atyrau, the winners of
stage I take part in it. And the third stage - a unifying cultural forum -
takes place in the city of Moscow. The Grand Prix winners in each nomination
participate in it.
The final Gala
concert of the "Jas-tolqyn” contest will be held on June 8 at 15:00 on the
stage of the Atyrau Regional Academic Kazakh Drama Theater named after
Makhambet. The famous Kazakh singer Beibit Kushkaliev
will perform as a guest of honor at the concert.
