Now the finalists of the "Jas tolqyn" contest are to prepare for the next and final stage - participation in the international festival "CPC - to Talented Children" in Moscow. This Project initiated by CPC has been going in Russia for over 20 years and covers all Regions crossed by the Tengiz-Novorossiysk crude pipeline.
The “Jas-tolqyn” charity project is conducted with the assistance of Caspian Pipeline Consortium and is aimed at supporting gifted children and teenagers living in Atyrau, Aktyubinsk, Mangistau and Western Kazakhstan Oblasts.
“One of CPC priority tasks is to render support to the Regions of its presents”, - pointed out Kairgeldy Kabyldin, Deputy General Director, RK Government Relations, at the press conference. - Annually, as part of its charity activity, our Company invests in the development of Atyrau Oblast social sphere. The allocated funds are provided for support to the health care, education, children sports, city and district infrastructure. The “Jas-tolqyn” young talents contest for gifted children from remote districts and villages of Kazakhstan Western regions is a large-scale charitable project in the field of culture.
Before the contestants perform, they attend master classes with famous teachers, this gives them the opportunity to reveal their talents and learn new skills as fully as possible. The purpose of the contest is to preserve the identity of folk traditions and culture.
As noted in the jury of the contest, the number of participants compared with the last year has almost doubled, indicating the demand for the project.
“The first stage, which was held online, received 254 creative works. This is more than 600 children and teenagers," - said Raisa Musakhodjaeva, the Chairperson of the jury of the "Jas-tolqyn" contest and an honored cultural worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan. - It is very good that this year we finally have the opportunity to implement such a wonderful project in a full-fledged format, without epidemiological restrictions.  As the history of the contest shows, "Jas-tolqyn" constantly opens up new names, which in the future worthily represent both their Region and our country in national and international creative competitions. Every participant has a talent, but there is not always an opportunity to develop it. For the contestants, "Jas-tolqyn" is quite an event, for which they carefully prepare: a lot of rehearsing, sewing costumes, inventing scenic images. Therefore, we are very grateful for the support that the Caspian Pipeline Consortium provides to young talents”.
As a reminder: the “Jas-tolqyn” charity project has been conducted in Kazakhstan since 2019. The contest consists of three stages. The first of these is the distance competition, which takes place online at jas-tolqyn.kz. In-person regional stage takes place in the city of Atyrau, the winners of stage I take part in it. And the third stage - a unifying cultural forum - takes place in the city of Moscow. The Grand Prix winners in each nomination participate in it.
The final Gala concert of the "Jas-tolqyn” contest will be held on June 8 at 15:00 on the stage of the Atyrau Regional Academic Kazakh Drama Theater named after Makhambet. The famous Kazakh singer Beibit Kushkaliev will perform as a guest of honor at the concert.
