CPC Is Awaiting the Official Audit Report from Rosprirodnadzor

The official website of Rosprirodnadzor informs that the agency has completed an unscheduled field audit of Caspian Pipeline Consortium-R. The audit was conducted from April 19, 2022 to May 13, 2022 by the instruction of Victoria Abramchenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, “after another emergency happened on March 23 at the Marine Terminal in Novorossiysk”.

The Audit Commission consisting of 81 people- 30 RPN representatives and 51 Lab Analysis and Technical Measurements Center experts - worked from April 19 to May 4, 2022 at 14 CPC facilities in Krasnodar Krai, Astrakhan Oblast, the Republic of Kalmykia and Stavropol Krai.

Further, the web-site message listed the violations of RF environmental legislative requirements.

According to the web-site, an audit report was drawn up on May 13, 2022 and a citation on elimination of the violations of mandatory requirements and administrative measures taken in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation was issued.

To date, CPC has not received an audit report and a citation specifying the violations found. Only upon receipt of official documents, Caspian Pipeline Consortium will carry out a necessary review of the findings and proceed with their close-out.
