The parties discussed the cooperation between the international company and the Region under the effective Social and Economic Cooperation Agreement. For reference, the document was signed in August 2019 and is aimed at further development of the interaction in both industry and social partnership.

The international Consortium and Astrakhan Oblast have been cooperating for over 20 years, during which CPC, along with ensuring the efficient performance of its operation facilities, has provided significant support to social projects in such areas as culture, education, health care, children's sports, and ecology. The Company also implements programs to aid the most vulnerable social groups.

In 2019, 2020 and 2021, CPC transferred to the budget of Astrakhan Oblast over 9.5 billion rubles in taxes. In 2021, the Consortium allocated over 143 million rubles to charity in the Region.

Since 2019, CPC has been implementing the Debottlenecking Program in Astrakhan Oblast. Specifically, at one of the Consortium’s largest stations - Astrakhan PS - a new mainline pump house, a new switchgear house, a transformer substation, a foam-generating unit and mud strainers are being built. After the work under this Program is completed, CPC will be capable of transporting up to 72.5 million tons of oil per year through Astrakhan Oblast.
