SPM-3 resumes operation at CPC Marine Terminal
On 23 April 2022, SPM-3 went back into service after repairs at the CPC Marine Terminal. As the weather improved for a short period of time on 23 April 2022, it allowed diving work to be carried out and a pipeline end manifold (PLEM) to be opened, enabling crude oil loading to be resumed from that SPM.
Visit of Consortium Management to CPC Marine Terminal Facilities
On 21 April 2022, Daniyar Berlibayev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Consortium, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC NC KazMunayGas made a working trip to the CPC Marine Terminal near Novorossiysk to familiarize himself with the progress and results of repairs on SPM-2 and SPM-3 damaged earlier by storm.

Regulatory oversight agency to inspect CPC facilities
The Federal Service for Environmental, Technical, and Nuclear Supervision (RTN) has notified CPC of a forthcoming unscheduled field inspection to assess the technical status of the Consortium’s industrial facilities pursuant to an instruction by Victoria Abramchenko, Deputy Chairperson of the Russian Federation Government issued on 6 April 2022.
Current operation of CPC Marine Terminal
Weather conditions offshore the CPC Marine Terminal allowed to perform inspection of SPM-1 equipment. The SPM was found serviceable and fit for oil transshipment.

Caspian Pipeline Consortium, following the MT operation regulatory documents, after weather improvement and cessation of related extreme stresses during loading operations carries out examination of the MT SPM (single point mooring) equipment.
Suspension of SPM-2 Operation
Diver examination by the MT maintenance contractor OOO Transneft-Service of the SPM equipment at the Marine Terminal near Novorossiysk after a storm revealed damage of sections 9 and 13 of the SPM-2 internal hose.
