Meeting of Safe Work Culture Steering Committee

кЛКБп13122024.jpgA regular meeting of Safe Work Culture Steering Committee took place at the CPC Moscow offices on December 13, 2024.  Meeting attendees were heads of departments and structural divisions.  The Steering Committee meeting was remotely attended by heads and chief engineers of regional operations departments, and heads of contractor companies.   
The agenda included the report on the follow-up of action items recorded in 2023; review of the 2024 leading indicators; assessment of the 2022-2024 HSE Strategic Plan implementation; review of personnel engagement and motivation; discussion of implementation and drills of leadership practices; safety tools digitization dynamics. 
Engagement of contractors in the development of Safe Work Culture was acknowledged at the meeting as efficient.  That said, the share of contractors filling out observation cards has doubled over the year.   It was also noted that more personnel became engaged in leader's visits, and the visits efficiency increased.  The Best Shift contest conducted at the Marine Terminal since 2023 was acknowledged a pilot program with a potential of roll-out to other production facilities of the Consortium.  
The meeting generated a list of action items for the regional and on-site committees as part of implementation of the 2025-2027 HSE Strategic Plan. Resolutions for the following year were drafted.  The following Safe Work Culture Steering Committee will take place in Q1, 2025.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major projects in energy sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil, and crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore.
