CPC management visits Kurmangazy and Isatay pump stations

1.jpgNikolay Gorban, CPC General Director, made a business trip to operations assets in the Eastern Region, the Kurmangazy and Isatay pump stations, along with a team of managers and experts on 7 October 2025.  
CPC Management inspected operating facilities and pump station equipment. Ad-hoc reviews of PS and contractor personnel readiness for emergency response were carried out at the pump stations and along the pipeline. Discussions were held with station employees on the topics of involvement and motivation for developing the Safe Work Culture and preparing for actions for it to be assessed, not only among CPC-K employees, but also among contractors. 
2.jpgThe Kurmangazy pump station commissioned in 2016 is located 280 km from Atyrau and maintained on a rotation basis. The station is equipped with four motor-driven mainline pumps, mud strainers, a surge relief system, and other equipment. Among the most important work activities at the station in 2025 is mainline pump rotor replacement.  
The Isatay pump station was put into service 2017.  Same as the Kurmangazy pump station, the station is maintained on a rotation basis and is highly automated. Four motor-driven pump units are installed in a mainline pump house. Mud strainers, a pressure control station, a DRA injection skid, and PS life-support systems are installed.at the station. 
External power supply to the Isatai and Kurmangazy pump stations is provided by two specially-constructed 220KV overhead power lines, 224.5 km in length each, and two 220/10KV substations.4.jpg

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major projects in energy sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil, and crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPMs) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore.
