The guests of honor of the final Gala concert held in Elista Arts College named after P. Chonkushov included: Nikolay Mantsayev, Minister of Education and Science of Kalmykia, Ulumdzhi Chidzhiev, CPC-R Representative, Republic Government Relations, Tatiana Vasilieva, Head of Office for state support to professional art and arts studies, Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The judges of the contest chaired by Anatoly Ochirov, Kalmykia Honored Artist, Honorary Professor of the Chinese Academy of Arts, included Tatiana Burlakova and Arslan Shavguvor, Honored Artists of the Republic.
The winners of the tries-out held on October 28th and 29th in Chernozemelsky and Iki-Burulsky Districts submitted to the judges’ and public approval 20 best numbers. In total 132 young contestants participated in the festival. Traditionally they competed in three categories: vocal singing, choreography and instrumental music.
Each and every contestant received memorable gifts from Caspian Pipeline Consortium – wireless headsets or power bank for portable devices, and the Gala concert participants and festival winners received digital reflex cameras, modern tablets, laptops and TV sets.
The Program “CPC to Gifted Children” aimed at providing support to gifted children, primarily from problem families has been implemented with success in Kalmykia on an annual basis for already 16 years as part of the Consortium’s charity activities. Over that period of time the program has covered several thousands of children living in Iki-Burulsky and Chernozemelsky Districts of the Republic. Assisting in preservation of the Kalmyk culture identity, national traditions in art, the festival helps many young talents to make choice of their future trade. Each time the Program opens new bright “starlets” who later honorable represent their Republic at the all-Russia and international creativity competitions.

CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects in the energy industry with participation of foreign capital on the CIS territory.
