CPC and KazTransOil Management Working Meeting

On 2 August 2017, Nikolay Gorban, CPC General Director, and Dennis Fahy, Operations Consultant, had a working meeting with KazTransOil representatives in the CPC Eastern Region office in Atyrau. The KazTransOil delegation was led by Alexey Pirogov, First Deputy General Director, and Sabit Arynov, Western Branch Director. The parties discussed a broad range of mutual cooperation issues including key interaction areas for the two companies after the completion of the CPC Expansion project. The CPC and KTO managers confirmed their willingness to continue a mutually-beneficial cooperation.
The two companies have been cooperating effectively since CPC started operating in 2001. Thus, to provide shippers with access to the CPC pipeline, KTO commissioned some additional facilities at its Atyrau pump station now used to transship hydrocarbons coming in via the Uzen-Atyrau, Kenkiyak-Atyrau and Martyshi-Atyrau pipelines as well as a railway into the CPC system.
