New Academic Building of Komsomolsk School Named after N. Mandzhiev Opened with CPC Support

On January 24, 2018, there was a ceremony of opening an elementary school building of the Komsomolsk secondary school named after N. Mandzhiev upon its upgrade co-financed by Caspian Pipeline Consortium. 
The opening ceremony was attended by Mikhail Grishankov, Deputy General Director of CPC-R, Alexey Orlov, Head of the Republic of Kalmykia, Valery Badmaev, Head of Chernozemelsky District, representatives of municipal administration and school management. 
The completed upgrade of the two-storied building, 1,035 sq.m., included the reinforcement of existing structures, replanning, replacement of all windows and roofing, and facade coldproofing. The total project cost amounted to 23 million rubles.
Please be reminded that in 2017 CPC supplied modern equipment to 19 secondary schools, while the Komsomolsk grammar school named after B. Basangov and the Komsomolsk secondary school named after N. Mandzhiev received for free English language labs for 15 pupils each.
In 2017, CPC implemented 10 charity projects and programs for the total amount of more than 83 million rubles in Kalmykia. This year it is planned to complete the construction of the Supplementary Education Center in the village of Iki-Burul, Iki-Burulsky district, and the elementary school building of secondary school No. 1 in the settlement of Artezian, Chernozemelsky district, for the total amount of 144 million rubles.

The CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects with foreign capital in the energy sector in the CIS. The length of the pipeline connecting oil fields in Western Kazakhstan with the Marine Terminal in Novorossiysk is 1,511 km. CPC’s Marine Terminal is equipped with Single Point Moorings that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, including bad weather conditions.
