The traditional charity project aimed at searching for and supporting gifted children in the Regions of the Consortium’s presence has started successfully and has already marked a record: 3,778 applications have been received to be judged by professional jury and the total number of participants have amounted to about 15,000.
Acceptance of applications from the participants registered on the ktk-talant.ru site who had submitted their creative work closed on April 15, as part of the first stage of CPC to Talented Children festival-contest. The contest organizer, Independent Non-Profit Organization called Academy of Cultural and Educational Innovations - summarized the first statistical results of the application campaign.
Now, the distinguished jury consisting of known Russian teachers and professional performers representing Russia's leading musical and theatrical institutions come in. They have some hard choices to make: by May 15, select the authors of the brightest, most talented and memorable performances and identify the laureates who will continue to participate in the contest at the second stage.
The largest number of applications came from Krasnodar Krai (including Novorossiysk), then follow Stavropol Krai representatives. Among musical and stage genres, instrumental music is in the lead, with participants choosing various vocal genres in the second place. As a reminder: in 2020, about 3,000 applications were processed at the first stage of the competition and the total number of participants amounted to 12,700 persons, thus allowing to speak of a new record of interest shown by children and youth from Astrakhan Oblast, Republic of Kalmykia, Stavropol Krai and Krasnodar Krai in participating in the traditional festival of young talents conducted by CPC for already over two decades.
