On 26 October 2021 in the Stavropol Krai, Nikolay Gorban, CPC General Director and Vladimir Vladimirov, Stavropol Krai Governor handed over the Certificates for high-tech diagnostic equipment to five medical institutions of the Krai. The International Consortium has allocated almost RUR 60 million for the implementation of this charity project.
City Clinical Hospital No. 2 and City Clinical Emergency Hospital received a “Diacom” digital X-ray diagnostic complex for 2 workstations each. The delivery set includes a set of programs for visualization, processing, archiving and export of medical images. The same equipment was delivered to the Izobilnenskaya and Ipatovskaya District Hospitals, while the Apanasenkovskaya District Hospital named after N.I. Palchikov received a NAIEOD “Endomedium+” endoscopic complex.
The current high demand for up-to-date digital X-ray diagnostic complexes by the medical institutions is caused by the recommended annual examinations of the population and COVID-19 spread: this type of equipment is capable of detecting lung damage.
The endoscopic complexes are effective for examination of the gastrointestinal tract, bronchi, lungs etc.
The Consortium has been providing social support for the region since early 2000s. Over that time, more than RUR 1 billion have been invested in the charity projects and programs. In connection with the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, CPC has refocused its charity activities in the region towards healthcare support. In 2020, the Consortium procured modern medical equipment for the healthcare institutions of the Krai to a total amount of more than RUR 87 million. In particular, there were supplied 5 ALV units, resuscitator’s bedside monitors and anesthesiologist’s portable monitors, pulse oximeters, depth of anaesthesia estimate monitors and other equipment used for treatment of patients with the new coronavirus infection.
