The
third in 2022 September issue of the CPC Panorama corporate magazine has been
published. CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban congratulates the Consortium
employees with their professional holiday – Oil and Gas Industry Workers Day.The
implementation of the Debottlenecking Program at the majority of the CPC
industrial sites has entered the stage of completion. Startup and commissioning
of new facilities is being followed by pilot operation. Progress of work and
emergency readiness of personnel were checked by the Consortium management
during a summer working visit to the oil pipeline facilities. In more detail,
the DBNP progress was covered in the reports from the construction sites at
Astrakhanskaya PS, Komsomolskaya PS and PS-2.
An
important event of last summer was examination of the CPC Marine Terminal sea
bottom by the EMERCOM of Russia within the framework of preparing for scheduled
replacement of single point moorings. For details, see a special feature-story.
Set
up this year the Safety Culture Committee combines the interests of the
Consortium and contractors. Its organizers and participants tell about the
objectives and tasks of the Committee.
The
25th Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum served once again as a platform
for CPC to establish new contacts, execute strategically important agreements,
exchange experience and views.
In
summer of 2022, environmental and education project “Protect Nature of Our
Native Land” was launched in the Kuban. The publication on the start and further
plans for the Consortium interaction with the state nature reserve “Utrish” is
supplemented with an encyclopedic research of the Black Sea in general – geology,
history, nature.
Victories
in sports for the CPC employees are commonplace. The Elbrus summiteers and
other record holders are joined in this issue by a man who swam across the
Bosphorus strait.

CPC Pipeline System is
one of the major investment projects with foreign capital in energy sector in
the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This
route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude
from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region. CPC Marine
Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load
tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather
conditions.
