In 2022, Caspian Pipeline Consortium allocated
over 553 million rubles towards charity projects, this amount being 43 million
more than a year earlier. They were implemented in accordance with the
Shareholder-approved regulatory documents and under the existing Cooperation
Agreements with Regional authorities of Krasnodar and Stavropol Krais,
Astrakhan Oblast and Republic of Kalmykia.In total 44 projects were completed in 2022.
Almost 40% of funds were allocated towards health care, 15% to education, 13% to
development of culture, etc.
Construction of buildings of two
paramedic-midwife stations and a general practitioner’s office in Glebovsky
District of Novorossiysk Municipality are currently at the completion stage.
All necessary equipment has been purchased for the said medical institutions.
Eleven specialized vehicles were purchased for
hospitals and ambulance stations in Stavropol and Krasnodar Krais. Modern
diagnostic and laboratory equipment was supplied to medical institutions in
Astrakhan Oblast, Stavropol and Krasnodar Krais. In total, the Consortium
invested over 215 million rubles in the health care in 2022.
Among major projects in the sphere of support to
children’s sports (CPC allocated over 46 million rubles towards these
objectives in 2022) the following can be listed: the purchase of four buses for
children's and youth sports schools in Krasnodar Krai, equipment for school
technology rooms in Astrakhan Oblast, a bur for regional handball center “Zarya
Caspiya” in Astrakhan, funding the events of the World without Borders sports
and athletic contest in Novorossiysk and others.
In the sphere of culture support (in total, the
Consortium allocated over 72 million rubles towards culture development in the
Regions in 2022), it is worth noting the revival of the traditional
face-to-face format of the CPC to Talented Children festival. Last year
registered a new record of participants - over 18 thousand gifted children. The
festival ended with the Uniting Forum in Moscow where about 280 winners from Russia
and Kazakhstan came to participate in master classes and a gala concert.
The CPC traditional environmental and education
project “Protect nature of our native land” expanded again in 2022. Last year
it covered all Regions of the Company’s presence: the Republic of Kalmykia,
Stavropol Krai, and Astrakhan Oblast were joined for the first time by Kuban
Region. The CPC - Utrish project was aimed at popularizing the reserve of the
same name. In total almost 40 million rubles were invested in environmental
programs in 2022.
Such traditional charitable programs, such as CPC
to First Graders and New Year and Christmas with CPC, remain in demand. In
2022, these projects covered 10.5 thousand and 14.8 thousand people,
respectively, in the Russian regions of CPC presence.
In 2022, CPC also continued to actively implement
charitable programs on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Last year,
2.8 million US dollars were allocated towards them last year. Construction of a
school for 900 pupils was commenced in Atyrau. Children from Atyrau, Mangystau,
Aktuba and Western Kazakhstan Oblasts participated in the regional stage of CPC
to Talented Children contest called “Jas-tolqyn”.
Over 400 children from Atyrau Oblast received New
Year gifts, children from needy families were provided with school backpacks
with all necessary school accessories.
CPC continued to subscribe 300 educational
establishments to the National Geographic magazine, organized training seminars
for teachers and schoolchildren in Atyrau Oblast.
For two decades, from 2001 to 2021, the
Consortium invested about 11 billion tenge (over 28 million US dollars) in
charitable projects in Atyrau Oblast.
Among these project, there are construction and reconstruction of
schools, kindergartens and medical institutions.

CPC Pipeline
System is one of the major investment projects with foreign capital in energy
sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511
km. This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as
well as crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region.
CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that
allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor
weather conditions.
