In
connection with the publication on April 10-12, 2023 by a number of
Novorossiysk mass media of reports on the unfavorable environmental situation
associated with the appearance of unpleasant odors (oil, petroleum products,
gas, mercaptans, etc.) in the Novorossiysk municipal district, as well as
numerous complaints from residents on social networks and in the EDDS of the
MBU "Safe City", we inform the following.
From April
10 to the present, the CPC Marine Terminal does not transship oil through the SPM
and does not accept crude oil into the Tank Farm due to a planned shutdown.
Accordingly, CPC facilities cannot be a source of volatile organic compounds
that cause unpleasant odors.
