CPC Delegation Participates in All-Russia Safety Week 2023

30230928.jpgCaspian Pipeline Consortium’s delegation participates in the activities of the All-Russia Safety Week held on 26-29 September 2023 in the Sirius Park of Science and Art in Sochi. CPC is traditionally a partner of the All-Russia Safety Week - a global discussion platform designed to present current trends, share experience and discuss the prospects for the development of companies' activities in the field of ensuring safe labor conditions and preserving the health of employees at work.

This year, the activities of the All-Russia Safety Week are dedicated to leadership, educational products, time management, and legal responsibility of an occupational health specialist. In 2023, tournaments and master classes conducted at enterprises have become a separate subject of the All-Russia Safety Week.

20210928-1.jpgThe business program is split into thematic blocks "Digital Transformation in the Social and Labor Sphere", "State Management of Occupational Health and Safety, Control and Supervisory Activities", "Occupational Risks in Occupational Health and Safety", "Employment Day" and "International Events".

CPC delegation at the All-Russia Safety Week includes occupational health and safety, civil defense and emergencies managers and specialists, equipment operation and maintenance managers and others. Participation in the All-Russia Safety Week gives them an opportunity of receiving updated information on changes in the legislation, exchange experience, learn about new trends in Safe Culture development. CPC representatives visited the exhibition and workshops dedicated to digitalization in the field of occupational health and safety, got acquainted with new trends in personal protective equipment for workers, and modern developments in the field of online personnel training.

It was at the All-Russia Safety Week in 2017, that CPC joined the international initiative of Vision Zero as one of the first companies in Russia. Taking into account the Consortium’s practical experience and based on the results of independent of studies, CPC has developed and implements an HSE Strategic Plan for 2022-2024.

In February 2022, CPC put into effect a corporate Safety Culture Leadership standard. In accordance with it, any CPC and contractor’s employee capable of stimulating and encouraging colleagues not only to consciously comply with occupational health and safety requirements, but also to take active steps to develop a Safe Culture, can be considered a leader.

As a reminder: in 2019, CPC received Grand Prix of All-Russian contest for the best solution in providing safe labor conditions - Health and Safety-2018. And in 2018, it won the All-Russian contest "Health and Safety - 2017", winning the first prize in the nomination "Methodology in the field of control and ensuring safe labor conditions" for the innovative project "The concept of creating a safety culture".

The CPC Pipeline System is one of CIS largest energy investment projects that involves foreign capital. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route moves over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil along with crude from Russian fields including those in the Caspian region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM), allowing tankers to be loaded safely at significant distance offshore, including in poor weather conditions
