On October
25, 2023, the ceremony of hand-over of vehicles and special vehicles for
budget-funded organizations of the Republic of Kalmykia was held in Elista. CPC
General Director Nikolay Gorban and First Deputy Chairman of the Republic of
Kalmykia Government Erdni Tserenov presented keys to drivers.
For the
public institution of supplementary education “Republic Center for
Children/Youth’s Tourism and Regional Studies” CPC purchased a VW Crafter
minivan. The 19-seat vehicle is equipped with a lane keeping assist, distance
control and directional stability systems, an automated ERA-GLONASS emergency
response system. The minivan will be used to transport students and teachers to
various tourist competitions as well as to local history and excursion
programs.
The stock of
municipal utility vehicles of Iki-Burulsky district was renewed with two
special vehicles. Firstly, it is a multi-purpose KAMAZ truck-mounted vehicle
for road maintenance, which is equipped with a quick-release sand and salt
spreader made of carbon steel, ploughing equipment with a hydro-turning shovel
and a special sweeping broom. Thanks to various attachments, these vehicles are
multi-purpose and adapted for all-season removal of dust, dirt and snow from
roads, and for road deicing. Secondly, the utility sector of Iki-Burulsky
district received a DEM 1145 earth-excavation vehicle mounted on a Belarus-92P
tractor. The excavator/forklift is intended for loading/unloading and
excavation operations, transportation of bulk materials for non-long distances;
it is essential for site grading, trench backfilling with excavated soil and
construction debris sweeping.
Moreover, a
multi-purpose road maintenance vehicle was purchased for the utility sector of
Elista, while their colleagues from Chernozemelsky district received a
food-grade tank truck. With this tank truck, portable water will be delivered
to residents of remote settlements of Chernozemelsky district.
As part of
the environmental awareness project “Protect Nature of Our Native Land” the
state natural resort “Black Soils” received a Belarus-82.1 tractor. This
special vehicle with trailing equipment and a water tank will enable to fight
fires and perform field work at the boundaries of the natural resort in an
effective way.

The total
value of the property donated amounted almost to 48 million rubles.
It is also
worth noting that on the same day there was a wrap-up of the charity project “Protect
Nature of Our Native Land”. CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban and Deputy
Chairman of the Republic of Kalmykia Government Naran Kyukeev took part in the
award ceremony for participants and winners of creative competitions "We
Will Save the Planet Together" and "A Window to the World of Ecology”
among students and teachers of educational institutions.
