
On December 12,
2023, an award ceremony for the Paryz competition was staged in Astana. It was attended
by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The gold award
of the republican competition for social responsibility “Paryz” in the nomination
“The Best Socially Responsible Enterprise” in the big business category was
allotted to the Joint Stock Company “Caspian Pipeline Consortium-K”. The first-degree
diploma and the “Paryz” gold statuette were presented to the CPC General
Director Nikolay Gorban by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of
Kazakhstan Tamara Duyssenova.
“Dynamic development
and financial indicators allow the Caspian Pipeline Consortium to implement charity
programs aimed at the support of health care, culture, education, ecology and
development of the Atyrau Region infrastructure. Over the period from 2001 to
2022, the Company forwarded more than KZT 12 billion (over USD 28 million) for
charity projects. Today, the Consortium allocates about KZT 1.38 billion (USD 3
million) annually for charity projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan”, - noted
the CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban in his reply speech.
The CPC most
recent large-scale charity projects are the Family-Type Children’s Village and
the Youth House in the Atyrau suburb, having been fully built, equipped and
already running. The construction of a local school for 900 pupils in the
Talgayran microdistrict was started in 2022 and now is in its active phase. The
medical equipment and motor pool of the health care institutions are
replenished on a regular basis. There are ongoing corporate programs: CPC to
First Graders, New Year Together with CPC, Interesting Science Olympiad for
schoolchildren, Jas Tolqyn young talents contest and other social charity
projects.
The Paryz Award
is one of the most prestigious in the Republic of Kazakhstan. It has been allotted
to companies since 2008 for their contribution to citizens well-being
improvement, active support of social initiatives, care for environment and
creation of the best working conditions for employees.

CPC Pipeline
System is one of the major investment projects with foreign capital in energy
sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511
km. This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as
well as crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region.
