On 1-3 July 2024, the CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban, the Head of the Operations Division Alexey Dmitryukov and other executives made a working visit to the Central Region facilities - А-PS-4А, Astrakhanskaya PS, А-PS-5А, Komsomolskaya PS, PS-2 and PS-3 located in the Astrakhan Region and the Republic of Kalmykia.
The Central Region staff and contractors finished 2023 without injuries and accidents. The activities of the subdivision fully comply with the international standards. Last year, the Central Region passed successfully a supervisory audit of Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015.
The visit covered examination of the PS equipment, unscheduled checks of personnel and contractors readiness for emergency response. Besides, the General Director chaired on the 2nd of July in Elista a corporate function to improve the CPC safety culture leadership, which was attended by representatives from all CPC regions.
At Astrakhanskaya PS, where almost 90% of the industrial zone were upgraded under the Debottlenecking Program (DBNP), the executives visited the sites of initial construction facilities dismantlement. Here, the test laboratory and sample storage buildings were relocated, electric motors and mainline pumps were mothballed and packed.
This year at PS-3, installation of frequency regulated drives continues under DBNP. The total weight of four shelters constitutes almost 328 tons.
Also, the inspection included the oil pipeline replacement sites – 8 km at Astrakhanskaya PS outlet and 17 km at Komsomolskaya PS inlet. An important stage of pipeline replacement in Kalmykia and Astrakhan Region is scheduled for October 2024: during a scheduled 72-hour shutdown the newly built segments will be connected to the existing oil pipeline, thus enabling to commence the dismantlement of the old ones.
