New Issue of CPC Panorama Is Out

cover eng.jpgThe third 2024 issue of corporate CPC Panorama is out. In the first half of 2024, the Caspian Pipeline Consortium lifted one million tons of oil more than in the same period last year, was awarded a medal of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia for assistance to the national project “Ecology”, and was also awarded a medal of the EMERCOM of Russia “For Cooperation for Salvation”. CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban speaks about this and many other topical issues in his interview.

The operational part of this issue focuses on the participation of the CPC delegation in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the summer inspection of the Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline facilities by the Consortium's Management, the new large-scale Program for replacing turbine-driven mainline pump units with motor-driven MPUs and VFD.  Mikhail Fedoseyev, Associate Professor of Gubkin University, who heads the group of development of a software system for planning deliveries through the CPC pipeline system, talks about mathematical modeling of facilities and processes in oil pipeline transport.

It is the second time in mid-summer that the Safe Work Culture leaders come to Elista, and time has shown the high efficiency of such meetings. CPC Pipeline System is one of the major projects in energy sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil, and crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore.
