20240927-1-1.jpgDelegation of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium is participating in the Russian Energy Week (REW-2024). The Forum takes place from 26 to 28 September 2024 at two venues: the Manezh Central Exhibition Hall, where the business program events are held, and the Gostiny Dvor, where an exhibition of equipment and technologies for the fuel and energy sector is organized. The International Consortium is a partner in the organization of the REW-2024 events.

The main theme of the Forum, which brought together more than 4,000 participants from 55 countries, was "Energy Cooperation in a Multipolar World". Around 30 events with more than 100 speakers are scheduled throughout the week. They discuss such thematic blocks as “International Agenda: Cooperation for Development”, “Sustainable Energy Development”, “Technology and Data as a Basis for Leadership”, “Development of the Russian Fuel and Energy Sector: Strategy and Regulation” and “Socially Oriented Fuel and Energy Sector”.

20240927-1-2.jpgAt the REW-2024 exhibition, leading manufacturers, equipment suppliers and technology companies from all sectors of the fuel and energy industry will present advanced projects, groundbreaking achievements, innovative equipment and cutting-edge technologies to a wide audience. More than 20 sessions for engineering and technical staff of energy companies with the participation of more than 70 speakers are also planned on the sidelines of the exhibition.

CPC executives and specialists toured the exhibition in detail and attended various sessions. One of the most interesting topics of REW-2024 was "Energy Infrastructure Development and Environmental Law: Legislative Requirements and Enforcement Issues". The participants in the lively discussion considered the issues of legal regulation in the construction of linear facilities, shared their experiences and expressed their initiatives for improvement in this area.

20240927-1-3.jpgIt is worth mentioning that the International Forum “Russian Energy Week” was established by the order of the Government of the Russian Federation in 2016. One of the organizers of the event is the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major projects in energy sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil, and crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore.
