The third in-person regional stage of the international contest of International Children's and Youth Creativity Contest - CPC to Talented Children - ended on September 27, 2024 in Stavropol Krai. The event ended with a gala concert in Stavropol Palace of Children’s Creativity, which was attended by CPC and Krai Administration's representatives. After the colorful performance, the names of the winners, grand-prize and special prizes winners of the third regional stage were announced, and the participants of the International Unifying Cultural Forum - Moscow Meets Friends - were also named.
On the eve of the gala concert, the contest’s experts gave creative master classes on September 24-26. Asya Selyutina, Associate Professor of the Department of Symphonic Conducting and Stringed Instruments of the A.N. Kosygin Russian State University; Natalia Chernyavskaya, Honored Artist of Russia, actress of the Russian Academic Youth Theater; Ekaterina Masalkova, dance teacher at the Oleg Tabakov Theater School (university); Irina Dubakina, choreographer, teacher and ballet master of modern trends at the VORTEX International Center for Contemporary Dance; Valeria Kuznetsova, teacher, artist of the Moscow State Academic Symphony Orchestra; Vadim Yevteev, singer, composer, teacher, participant of the “Voice” show on Channel One. The educational program also included workshops on professional development of teachers of additional education.
The Children's and Youth Creativity Contest - CPC to Talented Children - has been held for over 25 years. It was launched by CPC-R as part of the charity program to support children’s artwork. Having started as a local festival, the CPC to Talented Children contest has become a cross-national and international event uniting regions and countries, contributing to the preservation of folk customs and motivating the young generation to develop and fulfill their creative abilities. Over 20,000 young talents participated in the project in 2024.
