Meeting between CPC and Astrakhan Oblast Heads

0811202433.jpgOn 8 November 2024, in CPC Moscow Office, a business meeting was held between Nikolay Gorban, Company’s General Director, and Igor Babushkin, Astrakhan Oblast Governor. The parties discussed topical aspects of the Consortium's operation activities in the Region, the implementation progress of joint social and charity projects and programs, their performance status and prospects of further interaction. 
CPC’s cooperation with Astrakhan Oblast Administration dates back to 1998. In total, over these years, the Company has invested over 1.5 billion rubles in charitable projects in the Region. The interaction is currently being carried out under a five-year Cooperation Agreement signed in June 2024. The document covers all socially significant spheres of the Region’s life: health care, education, culture, children’s sports, ecology and also provides for a targeted aid to the most vulnerable population.
In 2024, CPC-R’s social program in Astrakhan Oblast exceeded 160 million rubles. Supply of the state-of-the-art CT scanner worth approximately 60 million rubles to Alexandro-Mariinsky Oblast Clinical Hospital should be noted as one of the recent major projects implemented by CPC. Thanks to CPC, in the last year, the material base of municipal services of the districts crossed by CPC trunk crude pipeline and the city of Astrakhan was strengthened with a variety of modern specialized vehicles for the total amount exceeding 60 million rubles. Construction of the Cultural and Aesthetic Center for Children and Youth launched in summer 2023 in Yenotaevka village is a landmark major ongoing charity project. 
In addition, the Environmental Awareness project “Protect Nature of Our Native Land”, focused on increasing the sturgeon population and environmental education of young people, and “CPC to First Graders”, “New Year and Christmas Holidays Together with CPC” programs and “CPC for Talented Children” festival are being implemented in the Region on an annual basis.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major projects in energy sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil, and crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore.
