The December issue of the corporate magazine “CPC Panorama”, the fourth in 2024 has come out of press. The General
Director of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium Nikolay Gorban wishes the staff Happy
New Year of 2025, which is expected to bring the billionth ton of crude oil since
the Tengiz-Novorossiysk oil pipeline system launch.
The construction/installation
work on replacement of the oil pipeline segments in the Astrakhan Region and
the Republic of Kalmykia was completed ahead of schedule. The CPC Panorama
correspondents also visited “the facility of the year” – Atyrau PS, where they
heard and saw how the oil pipeliners had helped the Akimat in defending the
city against the spring flooding.
The last issue of the year shows
traditionally all scheduled drills of the Consortium on the oil pipeline map. Special
attention is paid to the telecom team drills on recovery of the fiber optical
backbone cable. The guest of the “Science” section is Vitaly Shvechkov, Associate
Professor, Gas/Oil Pipeline Design and Operation Chair, Gubkin University
telling about the simulators employed by the oil pipeliners and the prospects
of artificial intelligence industry applications.
In the year of the 125th
anniversary of the Kazakhstan oil/gas industry, some CPC-K employees received
state and departmental awards from K.K. Tokayev, President of the Republic of
Kazakhstan, O.A. Bektenov Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, A.M.
Satkaliyev, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The outgoing year of 2024 was the
Year of the Family and the December issue has an extensive coverage of children.
Mothers and fathers with many children working in the CPC Russia and Kazakhstan
divisions share their experience (including character building through hiking).
Nikolay Kozhin, pianist, conductor and expert of the CPC Talented Children Festival
highlights the main qualities of the competition winner.

CPC Pipeline System is
one of the major projects in energy sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz
– Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route transports over two-thirds of
all Kazakhstan export oil, and crude from Russian oil fields, including those
