
Caspian Pipeline Consortium-K donated, as part of the company’s charity program, ultrasound scan equipment to the Makat Central District Hospital in Atyrau Oblast, Republic of Kazakhstan.
The state-of-the-art ultrasound unit of KZT 80 million was purchased under a current agreement with the Atyrau Oblast Akimat and in cooperation with the Health Department of Atyrau Oblast Akimat. The diagnostic equipment, which makes a wide spectrum of scanning of internal body organs, has already been put into operation. Makat district residents are currently undergoing in-depth medical checks with full use of the new ultrasound machine.
“Atyrau Oblast is the region of pivotal importance for us,” - commented Askar Shmanov, CPC-K representative for RoK Government Relations, in regard to donation of the equipment to the Makat Central District Hospital team. “We are always very enthusiastic about healthcare, we cooperate on corresponding issues with the relevant department of the Atyrau Oblast Akimat. CPC-K intends to continue furthering our social support”.

Ryskul Tayshekenova, Chief Physician of the Makat Central District Hospital, emphasized that “as of now, the demand for cutting edge ultrasound examinations in our district is up to 16-17 people per day, which is about 350 people per month”. “New medical equipment will certainly improve our capability to diagnose abdomen, heart and other organs’ conditions. The fact that we are now able to provide these services will help to diagnose many diseases at earlier stages, thus, more lives will be saved. Today, district residents do not have to go to the regional center anymore, it saves time and resources, and especially for patients from remote settlements. We extend our gratitude to Caspian Pipeline Consortium for such a tangible and very much needed support.”
CPC allocates annually over three million dollars (KZT 1.5 billion) towards charity projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan. In total, from 2001 to 2024, the Company invested approximately 17 billion tenge in charity projects in Atyrau Oblast.
