
February 20-21, 2025, Daniyar Berlibayev, Chairman of CPC-R Board of Directors, Designated Representative for the Caspian Pipeline Consortium Project on behalf of NC KazMunaiGas JSC, Erbolat Mendybayev, Director of Transportation and Logistics Department, NC KazMunaiGaz JSC, and Khakim Kassymov, Deputy General Director of CPC visited the CPC PS Kropotkinskaya facility.
Representatives of the CPC RoK shareholder conducted a visual inspection of the PS equipment and facilities damaged in the UAV attack and were able to assess the consequences of the terrorist act at a civil facility of the Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline system.
February 17, 2025, PS Kropotkinskaya located in Kavkazsky district of Krasnodar Krai was attacked by a number of UAVs loaded with explosives and shrapnel. There were no casualties or injured persons, however, the transportation facility was damaged and put out of service.
On February 18, the CPC management team and representatives from the Western Region of the Consortium worked at the station. Specialists have been tasked with completing repair work in the shortest possible time, in collaboration with contractors, to restore the functionality of all sub-facilities of the station. On February 17, 2025, the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation made a decision to open a criminal case for a crime under par. "a", "c", Part 2, Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
Crude transportation through the Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline system is ensured bypassing the PS put out of service. Crude oil lifting at the Marine Terminal is currently in progress under regular operation conditions.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major projects in energy sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil, and crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region.
