
New school was opened in Atyrau (The Republic of Kazakhstan) on March 20, 2025. The ribbon in front of the building was cut by Nikolay Gorban, CPC General Director, and Serik Shapkenov, Akim of Atyrau Region.
Construction of the school for 900 children in the rapidly developing micro district Talgairan started in 2022. During this time, contractors constructed a three-story building with a total area of over 12,000m2 using the CPC funds. The school has 36 classrooms designed for 25 people.

All classrooms are provided with the state-of-the-art equipment. Water piping, additional ventilation systems and compressors are installed in the chemistry, physics and biology laboratories. Language studying audio & multimedia equipment installed in the foreign languages classrooms. There are several workshops available in the school. For example, in the boys' technologies classroom there are machines, workbenches and a muffle furnace. The workshop for girls is equipped with sewing machines, mirrors and mannequins. The cooking classroom is equipped with tables with sinks, shelving, electric stove, refrigerator and cooking equipment.

In addition to classrooms, the school has two libraries, a medical center, two gymnasiums, an auditorium that seats 210 people and a dining hall for 312 people.
The school grounds cover 3 hectares. They include the stadium with a soccer field, a running track, an area of outdoor fitness equipment, a tennis court and a volleyball court.
Presenting a symbolic key to the school to its director, Nikolay Gorban noted that cooperation between the oil transportation company and the regional administration would be continued.

- Soon we will implement another major project - in three years we will build a Youth House for young people of Atyrau and the Region, - he emphasized.

At the end of the ceremony, CPC General Director and Akim of Atyrau Region signed an agreement on construction of the Youth House in Atyrau.
Since 2001, CPC has allocated approximately $3 million annually to charitable projects in Kazakhstan. Among these projects, there are construction and reconstruction of schools, kindergartens and medical institutions. Among the 12 recently built ones, there are kindergartens in Samal microdistrict and Birlik settlement in Atyrau, in Kulsary town, in Ganyushkino village and Akkol settlement of Kurmangazy district and two kindergartens in Akkistau settlement of Isatai district. Schools were also constructed in Zhastalap settlement of Kurmangazy district, Kurylys settlement of Inder district, Aktogay settlement of Makhambet district, a Youth House and a family type children village in Atyrau.
Due to the fact that the Consortium oil transportation facilities are located in the territory of Atyrau Region, only in 2024 the budget of the Republic of Kazakhstan received 85 million dollars of tax payments.
