CPC guarantees efficient and environmentally safe movement of crude oil

Ongoing repairs at Kropotkinskaya PS

On April 10, 2025 CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban visited Kropotkinskaya PS to check recovery work progress at the station.
After the site visit he met with contractors’ representatives and PS operations personnel to confirm the specifics of repair work, to discuss adaptation of locally manufactured equipment items replacing imported ones, availability of equipment and spares required to reinstate operability of all sub-facilities. Kropotkinskaya PS commissioning into operation is scheduled for late May 2025.
As a reminder, Kropotkinskaya PS located in Kavkazsky district of Krasnodar Krai was attacked on February 17, 2025 by several UAVs loaded with explosives and shrapnel. The largest CPC Pump Station in Russia received damages and was taken out of service.
Crude transportation through Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline system is being maintained bypassing the PS.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major projects in energy sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil, and crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore.
