On June 02, 2025, Kalmykia Government House hosted a transfer ceremony of Charity Certificates on the acquisition of equipment for environmental organizations. The ceremony was attended by Gilyana Boskhomdzhiyeva, Chairperson of the Republic of Kalmykia Government and Mikhail Grishankov, CPC-R Deputy General Director, RF Government Relations.
Within the framework of the environmental and educational project Let’s Save Our Environment, CPC procured seven tillage plows, two cultimulchers, and six blade cultivator plows. The equipment can assist in the prevention of damage to specially protected natural areas in the entire territory of the Republic of Kalmykia. It will be used for desertification control activities, building firebreaks, etc.
CPC purchased photo traps with storage batteries and memory cards for the Blackland State Natural Reserve. A large storage battery was also acquired for the Atsan-Khuduk cordon - a base of inspectors in charge of ongoing protection of the North-Western Caspian Sea region saiga population.
Total cost of equipment transferred by CPC roughly amounted to 5 million rubles.
CPC has been working on the Let’s Save Our Environment environmental and educational Project in the Republic of Kalmykia since 2014. The project focuses on raising environmental awareness of the younger generation and supports environmental protection initiatives.
