On
December 1, 2025, a final gala concert of the International Children's and
Youth Art Contest ‘CPC for Talented Children 2025. Wings of Victory’ was held
on the stage of the Gorbunov Palace of Culture in Moscow. This year all project
events were thematically related to the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the
Great Patriotic War. These events were called ‘Threads of Victory’ in the
Astrakhan Oblast, ‘Voices of Victory’ in Kalmykia, ‘Living Book of Victory’ and
‘Spring of Victory’ in the Stravropol Krai and in Kuban respectively, and
‘Roads of Victory’ in Novorossiysk.
Traditionally,
the final stage of the large-scale creative project, aimed at supporting
children's creativity in the Caspian Pipeline Consortium’s host regions in
Russia and Kazakhstan, is the Uniting Cultural Forum ‘Moscow Meets Friends’. In
2025, the Forum is held from November 28 through to December 2. The winners and
laureates of the regional stages of contest from the Astrakhan Oblast, Republic
of Kalmykia, Stavropol Krai, and Krasnodar Krai (in total over 240 persons)
came to Moscow. Fifty finalists of the Jas Tolqyn (New Wave) contest, annually held
in Atyrau, Western Kazakhstan, Aktuba and Mangistau Oblasts of the Republic of
Kazkhstan, joined them in the Russian capital. The collective historical memory
of two peoples, embracing incredible valor and great sacrifices made to prevail
over Nazism, along with multiculturalism providing for harmonious coexistence
of Russian and Kazakh languages, cultures and traditions, form the foundation
for stable relations of our countries.
The
young guests of the Forum participated in the excursions in Moscow, master
classes of the teachers from Moscow universities, and in creative meetings with
famous artists. The final ‘I Remember’ gala concert on the stage of the
Gorbunov Palace of Culture included 27 performances by the winners and
laureates of the contest. In a show united by a common storyline, the history
of 1941-1945 war years was told through the prism of contemporary teenage
perception. Both finalists and experts of the contest, professional artists and
musicians, took part in the dazzling theatrical show.
The
contestants were welcomed by Mikhail Grishankov, CPC Deputy General Director,
RF Government Relations; Vladimir Bobolya, Deputy Chairman of Astrakhan Oblast
Government, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Governor of Astrakhan Oblast;
Gilyana Boskhomdzhieva, Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Kalmykia;
Natalya Mayorova, Deputy Head of Novorossiysk City Municipality.
The
children's and youth's creativity festival-contest ‘CPC to Talented Children’
has been held for over 25 years. It was launched by CPC-R as part of the
charity program to support children’s artwork in regions of the Company’s
presence. Initiated as a local festival, the ‘CPC to Talented Children’ contest
has become a cross-national and international event uniting regions and
countries, contributing to the preservation of folk customs and motivating the
young generation to develop and fulfill their creative abilities. The contest
is conducted annually and consists of four stages. Over 25 thousand young
