State Institutions of the Republic of Kalmykia Receive Medical and Multimedia Equipment from CPC

1.jpgOn December 15, 2025, Kalmykia Government House, in Elista, hosted the handover of certificates for medical and multimedia equipment purchased by Caspian Pipeline Consortium for the regional state institutions as part of charity program 2025. The philanthropy certificates handover was attended by CPC management; Gilyana Boskhomjiyeva, the chairperson of the Republic of Kalmykia Government; Erdni Tserenov, First Deputy Chairman of the Republic of Kalmykia Government; Marina Oljzyatiyeva, Deputy Chairperson of the Government - Minister of Social Development, Labor and Employment. 
High-tech ultrasound diagnostic apparatus for echocardiographic examination was donated to State Funded Institution Republican Center for Specialized Medical Care No. 2. This multidisciplinary healthcare centre of the Kalmykia Republic Ministry of Health has been operating in Elista since 1961. It provides primary specialized medical care, offers occupational medical examinations and qualifying check-ups. The centre is also the only Kalmykian institution specialized in sports medicine and exercise therapy, and the donated ultrasound device is planned to be used within these services. 
Pursuant to the Order of the RF Ministry of Health No. 1144n dd October 23, 2020, ‘On Approval of the Procedure for Organizing Medical Care for Persons Engaged in Physical Culture and Sports (including during the Preparation and Conduct of Physical Culture and Sports Events)’ echocardiographic examination is mandatory in order to identify any contraindications to sport activities stemming from general blood circulation and heart conditions and pathologies.
The expert grade universal ultrasound scanner purchased by CPC makes it possible to examine human body, visualize and archive the results for medical professionals in cardiology, gynecology, angiology, nephrology, urology, oncology, and pediatrics.2.jpg

Caspian Pipeline Consortium also purchased a set of stage multimedia equipment for the State Funded Institution Kalmyk State Philharmonic Society Named after A.N. Mandzhiev. The set comprises dozens of tracking spotlights (spot and zoom types), heavy smoke and fog generators, professional control console, as well as various consumables, contacts, and cables. Outfitting republican philharmonic hall with this professional equipment expands creative space borders, supports implementation of important cultural projects, and helps to preserve, develop, and promote cultural heritage of Kalmyk people.
CPC performs charity activities in the Republic of Kalmykia under a five-year Cooperation Agreement signed with the regional authorities in April 2022. The document covers all socially significant spheres of the Republic life - health care, education, culture, children’s sports and also provides for a targeted aid to the most vulnerable population. Tax proceeds from the Consortium to the consolidated budget of the Republic of Kalmykia totaled 3.18 billion rubles in 2024.
Kalmykia is crossed by a 200 km segment of the CPC oil pipeline, with three oil pump stations located in the Republic: Komsomolsk PS, PS-2, and PS-3.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major projects in energy sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil, and crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that enable safe tanker loading at a significant distance offshore.
