New Year is a big family holiday, which, to a great extent, determines the mood for the whole next year. In December, when children and grownups decorate New Year trees, Caspian Pipeline Consortium implements traditionally in the Russia and Kazakhstan host regions the project “New Year and Christmas Holidays with CPC”. In the Astrakhan Oblast, Republic of Kalmykia, Stavropol and Krasnodar Krais, Hero City of Novorossiysk and Atyrau Region of the Republic of Kazakhstan CPC takes part in the organization of theatrical performances and gives presents.
Each year, the Consortium’s presents to the people in a difficult life situation differ in the content. This time, apart from traditional sweets, the young participants of the charity program received books, various tabletop games, while the senior citizens – sports suits, bed linen and warm clothes.
In December 2025 in the Russia regions, CPC handed out almost 16.6 thousand of New Year presents: 3.1 thousand – in the Astrakhan Oblast, 3.2 thousand – in the Republic of Kalmykia, 2.7 thousand – in the Stavropol Krai, 4.5 thousand – in the Krasnodar Krai, and 3.1 thousand – in Novorossiysk.
In Kazakhstan, 444 children from the Makhambetsky District received the needed items and New Year sweets. In the Makatsky District, 125 children were provided with winter clothes and footgear. For 250 children undergoing treatment in the Atyrau Region Children’s Hospital, CPC-K furnished bed linen and sweets.
“New Year and Christmas Holidays with CPC” is one of the traditional
charity programs of the Consortium, which are implemented in the host regions annually. Such programs also include “CPC to First-Graders", environmental/educational project “Protect Nature of Our Native Land” and international creative festival-contest “CPC for Talented Children”.
It should be noted that this year the staff of all regional divisions of the Consortium in Russia took an active part in the All-Russia project “New Year Wish Tree”. The CPC employees not only collected funds for presents, but also granted the wishes of the children in a difficult life situation, which they had expressed in the letters to the Grandfather Frost.
