
On April 06, 2026, public utility services and educational institutions of three municipal districts of the Astrakhan Oblast received special purpose equipment and motor vehicles procured as part of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium Charity program. The transfer ceremony took place in the city of Astrakhan. Nikolay Gorban, CPC General Director, Denis Afanasiev, Vice Governor - Chairman of the Astrakhan Oblast Government and other officials were in attendance.
Public utility and maintenance services of the Yenotaev, Nariman and Kharabalin municipal districts received sets of street sweeper vehicles complete with a ‘Belarus’ wheeled tractor, detachable equipment and two trailers. Multi-purpose equipment can be used throughout the year and is capable of replacing a number of single purpose vehicles by interchanging detachable equipment and trailers.
Yenotaev, Nariman and Kharabalin municipal district institutions received high-capacity passenger vehicles. Lada Largus 7-passenger motor vehicles will be used to bring schoolchildren to regional and All-Russia academic competitions, contests and festivals. Also, the vehicles are supposed to assist with visits of professors and psychologists to remote locations to deliver sessions to children with disabilities. Wagon vehicles with an easily transformable cargo bay will help improve the quality of transportation for educational, sports and youth policy organizations of the Astrakhan Oblast municipal districts.

Cooperation of CPC and the Astrakhan Oblast government is implemented under a five-year agreement signed in June, 2024. The document covers all socially significant spheres of the region’s life: health care, education, culture, children’s sports, ecology and also provides for a targeted aid to the most vulnerable population. Tax proceeds from the Consortium to the consolidated budget of the Astrakhan Oblast totaled over 4.5 billion rubles in 2024.
Almost a 300 km long section of the CPC trunk pipeline crosses the Astrakhan Oblast territory; system pressure is maintained by three pump stations, the Astrakhan PS being the largest one.
