On 23 May 2026, a strategic round table of the International Association of Oil Transporters (IAOT) was held in Astana. The event was attended by representatives from PJSC Transneft, JSC KazTransOil, OJSC Gomeltransneft Druzhba, MOL Group, LLP KKT and others.
The participants discussed corrections in the charter documents of the Association, prospects and conditions of IAOT further development, heard the reports on the implementation in 2026 of the experience sharing programs on-going in the Association.
- This is an important meeting for all participants. We have discussed with the colleagues new present-day challenges, new growth possibilities for oil transportation companies, as well as financial issues. Changes in the IAOT founding documents, correction of the activity areas - all that meets the requirements of the time and contributes to a higher performance efficiency of the Association. All reports are well prepared, thus facilitating fruitful proceedings of the round table, - noted the CPC General Director N.N. Gorban.
The IAOT was established in 2013 as an international non-profit, non-governmental organization. The IAOT’s key tasks include comprehensive assistance in supporting continuous deliveries of oil and petroleum products to the world energy markets and in developing interrelationship among the Association participants at a national, regional and international level.
In April 2024, CPC raised its status in the IAOT from an observer to a full member, and, in June 2025 in Sochi, hosted the 25th Session of the Governing Board with the powers of the Assembly of the International Association of Oil Transporters (IAOT).

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major projects in energy sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km.
