September 03, 2026, a transfer ceremony took place in Atyrau: a new comfortable bus purchased for the Atyrau Regional Philharmonic Society named after M. Zhanturin was handed over as part of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium-K JSC (CPC-K) charity program. The ceremony was attended by Kairgeldy Kabyldin, CPC-K Deputy General Director, RoK Government Relations, and Daryn Shamuratov, Deputy Akim of the Atyrau Region, management and personnel of the philharmonic society.Kairgeldy Kabyldin, CPC-K Deputy General Director, RoK Government Relations, handed over the keys to Baktybek Sartbaev, Head of the Philharmonic Society. Representatives of the artistic community received a 51-seat Yutong intercity coach. The value of the implemented charity project is KZT 86 million.
The newly acquired vehicle provides a broad range of opportunities for the performing artists. From now on, they can perform on tours in the Atyrau Region and beyond. Large compartments for luggage easily fit musical instruments and stage props. Comfortable passenger compartment ensures quality time on the road.
When addressing the attendees of the ceremony, Daryn Shamuratov underscored the significant contribution made by CPC to the Atyrau Region social and cultural development and thanked the Consortium for the long-standing support of the region and delivery of socially significant projects.
‘To CPC, support of the culture community is not just a social project, but an informed investment into the intellectual wealth of the region’, stated Kairgeldy Kabyldin at the ceremony. ‘We realize that it is creative teams that build cultural heritage, inspire people and unite the society. May this coach become a symbol of new pathways, new encounters and new achievements’.
The transfer of the coach is part of the CPC systemic effort to develop social infrastructure and strengthen cultural ties. It is notable that this significant charity project was implemented in the year of the 60th anniversary of the Atyrau Regional Philharmonic Society. Over the years, the Society has become a veritable center of the region's musical life. Today the Philharmonic Society employs more than 200 people and seven creative teams: Naryn Folk Instrumental Orchestra, a pop brass band, Sarayshyk ethno-folk ensemble, Murager folk music ensemble, Inzhu-Maran dance ensemble, Daryn boys’ choir and a chamber string ensemble. More than 40 solo performers are also on the team, including singers, kyuishi, instrumental performers, concertmasters and announcers. Between 2001 and 2025, total amount of charity support for the Atyrau Region exceeded KZT 17 billion. One of the largest educational projects undertaken by CPC-K in recent years has been the construction of a school for 900 students in the Talgairan district in Atyrau.
