September 03, 2026 CPC-K JSC handed over collections of the Russian classical literature books to the Atyrau Oblast school libraries. The handover ceremony attended by Kairgeldy Kabyldin, CPC-K Deputy General Director for the Republic of Kazakhstan Government Relations, took place at the library of municipal secondary school #41.
The project, impressive in terms of cross-cultural communication and dialog between the two countries aimed at the Russian language promotion in the Republic of Kazakhstan and Kazakh literature promotion in the Russian Federation was funded by Caspian Pipeline Consortium based on resolution of the CPC-R and CPC-K Board of Directors and the initiative of Transneft PJSC, a CPC-R government shareholder.
Within the framework of the charity program, 208 schools of the Atyrau Oblast have received some 3,000 books worth more than KZT 12 million. Among them are works by Alexander Pushkin, Nikolai Gogol, and Anton Chekhov.
‘We view this project as an important contribution to the development of education and culture. Books by classics of the Russian literature will not only assist school students in mastering Russian, but also in sharing spiritual values that unite our nations’, pointed out Kairgeldy Kabyldin, CPC-K Deputy General Director for the Republic of Kazakhstan Government Relations. ‘To CPC this is not mere charity, but a responsible and noble ambition of strengthening ties of friendship and mutual understanding between Kazakhstan and Russia’.
Transfer of books has become the second part of a large-scale CPC project focused on promotion of the Russian Language and literature in the Republic of Kazakhstan and of the Kazakh literature in the Russian Federation. It is the same government-to-government charity project that ensured internship of 21 teachers of the Russian language from the Atyrau Oblast schools in the Astrakhan Oblast in summer of 2026. School teachers were able to master new methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language, got acquainted with cultural linguistic studies and visual semantization, which will help them use present-day techniques in teaching. CPC Crude Oil Pipeline System is one of the major projects in the CIS energy sector. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km.
